I am working on household sustainability, a burgeoning interdisciplinary field between sustainability and household finance. My research agenda lies in (a) investigating social sustainability—especially intergenerational mobility—from a household finance perspective, and (b) melding environmental sustainability—an important need for current and future generations—with real estate market from a lens of household.

My work has been published at leading international journals such as PNAS, American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, Review of Finance, Journal of Urban Economics, Nature Climate Change, Nature Cities, Applied Energy, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management. They have been featured internationally (e.g., cited by World Bank, United Nations, The Economist, Bloomberg, VoxChina, The Wall Street Journal) and regionally (e.g., noticed by the Ministry of National Development Singapore, cited by Straits Times, Channel News Asia, Lianhe Zaobao, MoneyFM, Business Times, Singapore Institute of Building).
